This Privacy Policy describes how TechTenStein Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application Employee Attendance Manager (the "App"), available on Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store, and other app marketplaces.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use its core features.
If you contact us through the in-app "Contact Us" or "Share feedback with us" feature, your device's email application opens a message addressed to contact@techtenstein.com pre-populated with the App version, your Android version, your device model, and any text you choose to write. We use this information solely to respond to your feedback or support request.
The App sends local notifications (reminders, streak warnings, re-engagement nudges) scheduled and triggered entirely on your device. We do not operate a notification server. No personal information leaves your device for notifications.
You may disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings or by revoking the notification permission for the App.
The App offers an optional Google Drive backup so you can save and restore your employee, attendance, and salary records. When you choose to back up, the App signs in with your own Google account (using Google Sign-In) and writes an encrypted-in-transit backup file to a private application folder in your Google Drive. We do not operate this storage and cannot read your backup — it lives in your Google account under Google's Privacy Policy. You may delete it at any time from your Google Drive. Backup runs only when you initiate it.
Android's system "Auto Backup" is configured to exclude the App's employee and salary database, so your staff's personal and pay information is not automatically copied to the cloud without your action. Only non-sensitive app settings may be included in a system backup.
Through AdMob mediation, the App may display ads served by the following networks. Each may collect device identifiers, IP address, and approximate location for personalising and measuring ads.
You can opt out of personalised ads via the in-app consent dialog or by resetting your Advertising ID in your device's system settings.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed in Section 3, each governed by its own privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
The App stores no personally identifying data on any server we operate, because the App has no backend infrastructure of its own. Data sent to third-party services is retained per each service's published policy (typically 14 months for Firebase Analytics; up to 90 days post-resolution for Crashlytics).
You may delete all data stored locally by the App at any time: Settings → Clear my data. This action erases local preferences, progress, streaks, achievements; resets your Firebase Analytics identifier; deletes any unsent crash reports; and returns the App to a fresh first-launch state.
To exercise any right or for any privacy-related question, contact contact@techtenstein.com. We respond within 30 days.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers, which take place under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the App's first launch after the update.
